StenoggerTM Blog
The Users' Blog grows all the time with new categories and entries. Your comments are welcome!

Following are entries you might love—like I do!—but you also might hate them and want to delete them from the dictionary.

1.  The Novelist’s Toys:

Doubling the period, comma, and question mark give you period/quote, comma/quote, and question mark/quote at the end of a sentence.  With a lot of dialogue, your wrists will love you.

.. = .”
,, = ,”
?? = ?”

2.  ft = of the

“of the” is such a high-frequency (hifkk) brief, I use it all the time.  But! you might use it for other things, like writing FT for “full time.” If so, you’ll want to delete it. (Stenogger uses fltm for full time and fltmm for full-time.)
